Wilmington S.T.I.R. (Sitting Together Is Radical) is Wilmington’s chapter of an international network of meal-based micro granting initiatives known as Sunday Soup. It offers a way to provide sustainable, grassroots community funding for creative projects through community meals.
We encourage proposals that will directly benefit the city of Wilmington community and be fully realized with the funding received from the dinner.
How it works:
- Wilmington S.T.I.R. receives proposals of creative community improvement projects and initiatives from local artists, creators, and doers.
- Each person who makes a donation ($10 minimum) at the event is invited to enjoy dinner, beverages, music, hear the project ideas and vote on them.
- The proposal with the most votes walks away with the pool of cash donations to make their plan a reality!
The next proposal deadline is March 13, 2017.
Proposal form located here: https://goo.gl/forms/gAMItusHcMSLqZfP2.
The first 10 complete proposals received will be accepted.
